23 Apr Update – Member Club Closures Extended – 04/23/2020
Dear Taekwondo Ontario Community;
On the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, the Ontario government is extending all emergency orders that have been put in place to-date under s.7.0.2 (4) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act until May 6, 2020. This extension will help protect the health and well-being of people across the province and stop the spread of COVID-19.
The Government of Ontario is mandating significantly enhanced measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19. As part of the declaration, all facilities providing indoor recreational programs and licensed child care centres, amongst others establishments specified, are required to close with immediate effect until May 6, 2020 at which time the closure will be further re-assessed.
As such, all Taekwondo Ontario Member Clubs are hereby required to close immediately and remain closed until May 6, 2020 at which time the closure will be re-assessed.
