08 Nov Reminder Greg Bauer Suspension
Dear Taekwondo Ontario Membership;
On December 17, 2023, Greg Bauer was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation and assault in relation to a minor female.

On December 17, 2023, Taekwondo Ontario’s Board of Directors were notified from Taekwondo Canada’s that Greg Bauer had been suspended in accordance with the powers set out in paragraph 3.6.1 of Taekwondo Canada bylaws
A notice was posted on our website on December 18, 2023, however; it has become clear based feedback that there is an opportunity for us to improve our communication with our respective membership and stakeholders in this regard.
Per the suspension, given the seriousness of the allegations and our mandate to protect both our athletes and the integrity of our sport, this suspension took effect on December 17th and will continue pending the conclusion of the criminal process, at which time it may be reassessed.
While the suspension remains in place, Greg Bauer is prohibited from attending, participating or otherwise engaging in any Taekwondo Canada-sanctioned training, workshops, or competitions, or any other activity directly or indirectly related to Taekwondo Canada, our member Provinces, our Special Interest Groups, Partners or registrants in any capacity,
