17 Mar Immediate Member Club Closures – 03/17/2020
Dear Taekwondo Ontario Community;
Effective this morning March 17, 2020, Premier Ford announced that the Government of Ontario is taking decisive action by making an order declaring an emergency under s 7.0.1 (1) the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.
The Government of Ontario is mandating significantly enhanced measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19. As part of the declaration, all facilities providing indoor recreational programs and licensed child care centres, amongst others establishments specified, are required to close with immediate effect until March 31, 2020 at which time the closure will be further re-assessed.
As such, all Taekwondo Ontario Member Clubs are hereby required to close immediately and remain closed until March 31, 2020 at which time the closure will be re-assessed.
