Dear Taekwondo Ontario Community,

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Grandmaster Baik Nam Sik on February 13, 2025, at the age of 74.

As a longtime resident of Ontario since 1983, Grandmaster Baik was a trailblazer in Taekwondo, dedicating his life to teaching and inspiring generations in Toronto.

Throughout the years, Grandmaster Baik played a crucial role in developing many national and international champions and advancing Taekwondo in Canada.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
