06 Aug NCCP Dojang Coach (DC) Course Offering (Aug 15-16, 2020)

Dear Taekwondo Ontario Community;

Taekwondo Ontario (TO) is please to announce that we will be hosting the NCCP Dojang Coach (DC) Course through Taekwondo Canada (TC).

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, this course will be offered online for a limited time through Zoom and participants that are registrants of Ontario and members in good standing with TO will be eligible for a Coach Bursary up to $300 upon completion the course. The NCCP Dojang Coach (DC) course is the foundational Taekwondo specific course for coaching and is a pre-requisite for the NCCP Performance Coach (PC) course. Further course details are below:

Course Description:
This workshop will provide coaches of junior athletes with the essential tools needed to help their athletes in competition. Through direct observation and debrief, coaches will learn performance analysis, sport program management, and competition support and planning. This training complements the training received through the NCCP Assistant Instructor (AI) course.

Date: Saturday August 15 & Sunday August 16, 2020
Time: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Delivery Method: Online Training using Zoom
Facilitator: Master Rommel Cabanatan, ChPC
Registration Fee: $210
Dress: comfortable attire
Equipment required: device with zoom capabilities, pen/pencil, eraser, notebook, NCCP CC#.
Minimum age requirement: Minimum age to take the course is 14 years old. Minimum age required for the evaluation is 16 years old.
