The Taekwondo Ontario Referee Committee is pleased to announce a Provincial Kyorugi Referee Seminar to be held on Sunday August 28, 2022. This seminar will be run at the Jung Ko Taekwondo Academy.

*This seminar meets the process to certification, upgrades, and/or NCCP requirement

Course Conductor: Master Daniel Park

Eligibility: Minimum 13 years old, 2nd Keup and current Taekwondo Ontario member in good standing

Registration: Open

Registration Fees:

• P1/P2/P3 Class Certification Course – $100
• Refresher / Coach Course – $50

Attire: Dobok
Bring: Pen/pencil, notebook, lunch, copy of competition rules

Seminar topics will include the following:

• Referee fundamentals and duties
• Theory (rules and scenarios)
• Hand signals
• Practical evaluation (to be completed in the afternoon)

*All participants are expected to review and/or have a printed or electronic copy of the latest WT Kyorugi Competition Rules and Interpretation for the seminar. This can be downloaded on the WT website:

New and upgrading referees will be required to successfully complete a written exam and practical evaluation in order to earn a certificate.
