The Taekwondo Ontario Referee Committee is pleased to announce a Provincial Kyorugi Referee Seminar to be held on Sunday May 5, 2024. This seminar will be run at Canadian Taekwondo Centre in Richmond Hill.
*This seminar meets the process to certification, upgrades, and/or NCCP requirement
Course Conductor: Master Straso Trantalovski
Eligibility: Minimum 13 years old, 2nd Keup and current Taekwondo Ontario member in good standing

Bring: Pen/pencil, notebook, lunch, copy of competition rules
Seminar topics will include the following:
*All participants are expected to review and/or have a printed or electronic copy of the latest WT Kyorugi Competition Rules and Interpretation for the seminar. This can be downloaded on the WT website.
New and upgrading referees will be required to successfully complete a written exam and practical evaluation in order to earn a certificate.

Taekwondo Ontario will be hosting a Final Ranking Game to select best athletes to represent province of Ontario at the 2024 National Championships in July.
Competition Fee:
Free for athletes that competed in both provincial games, $120+ (HST & Service Charge) for athletes that only competed in one of the provincial games.
Athlete Eligibility Requirements:
1.1 Must be a registered participant in good standing with Taekwondo Ontario
1.2 Must be a Kukkiwon Dan Holder
1.3 Must show proof of registration at Nationals in July
1.4 Athlete must be Canadian citizens to represent Canada at official international events or to compete at national championships
Athlete Eligibility:
1.1 If an athlete won first place in 2 of the provincial games their division will be declared
1.2 If an athlete has won first place in 2 different weight classes their weigh class at the provincial game 2 will be declared (example, Athlete A won Provincial game 1 in Fin weight and won Provincial Game 2 in Bantam weight. Bantam Weight will be declared for Athlete A)
1.3 If no athlete secures first place in both provincial games, a fight off will be held between the athletes who attained 1 st and 2 nd place in games 1 and 2, respectively.
