Taekwondo Ontario (TO) is please to announce that we will be hosting the NCCP Dojang Coach (DC) Course through Taekwondo Canada (TC) as part of the National Coaches Week.
September 19 – 27, 2020 marks the 15th annual National Coaches Week in Ontario! NCW is a week to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities across Canada. This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by simply saying #ThanksCoach. The NCCP Dojang Coach (DC) course is the foundational Taekwondo specific course for coaching and is a pre-requisite for the NCCP Performance Coach (PC) course. Further course details are below:
This workshop will provide coaches of junior athletes with the essential tools needed to help their athletes in competition. Through direct observation and debrief, coaches will learn performance analysis, sport program management, and competition support and planning. This training complements the training received through the NCCP Assistant Instructor (AI) course.
Date: Saturday September 26 & Sunday September 27, 2020
Time: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Delivery Method: Online Training using Zoom
Facilitator: Master Rommel Cabanatan, ChPC
Registration Fee: $110
Dress: comfortable attire
Equipment required: device with zoom capabilities, pen/pencil, eraser, notebook, NCCP CC#.
Minimum age requirement: Minimum age to take the course is 14 years old. Minimum age required for the evaluation is 16 years old.
Registration is limited to 8 participants and closes when filled. First come, First serve.
**Preference will be given to Head Instructors of Member Clubs**
