PERFORMANCE COACH WORKSHOP – ONLINE

The course will be delivered in both English and French language online on Tuesdays from 8:30pm to 11:00pm; and Saturdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, starting on Tuesday November 17. Registration closes Thursday November 12, 2020 at noon.

Workshop Description:
For senior level coaches working with provincial and national level athletes, coaches will work through taekwondo specific modules and will be provided with well-rounded training for developing competitive athletes. Coaches will work through 5 of the 8 modules culminating in a yearly training plan.

Essential Info to Know Before Registering:
1. Participation in this workshop will require a consistent commitment for the duration of the course. Coaches must complete the assignments before the start of the next session; failure to do so will warrant removal from the course without refund. Coaches who cannot fully commit the time, will not likely succeed.
2. Completion of Developing Athletic Abilities module is suggested prior to this workshop.
3. Following the workshop, coaches will need to complete module 6 (event evaluation), 7 (training camp), and module 8 (debrief) in order to complete PC certification requirements.
4. Coaches must complete the multisport modules in the pathway to acquire ‘Trained’ status
