Captain Sports Sponsored Provincial Final Ranking Game

Poomsae and Senior Sparring

Taekwondo Ontario will be hosting a Final Ranking Game to select best athletes to represent province of Ontario at the 2024 National Championships in March.

Competition Fee:
Free for athletes that competed in both provincial games, $120+ (HST+Service Charge) for athletes that only competed in one of the provincial games.

Athlete Eligibility Requirements:
1.1 Must be a registered participant in good standing with Taekwondo Ontario
1.2 Must be a Kukkiwon Dan Holder
1.3 Must show proof of registration at Nationals in March
1.4 Athlete must be Canadian citizens to represent Canada at official international events or to compete at national championships

Athlete Eligibility:
1.1 If an athlete won first place in 2 of the provincial games their division will be declared
1.2 If no athlete secures first place in both provincial games, a fight off will be held between the athletes
who attained 1 st and 2 nd place in games 1 and 2, respectively.
1.3 Poomsae athletes must choose only 1 division if they qualified for both, (Freestyle or Recognized)

January 22,2024 Sparring / Poomsae Format Announced
January 27, 2024 Sparring Athlete Weigh In @Venue 3-5pm

• 9am – All undeclared Sparring Athlete report to Random Weigh Ins * Please note all sparring athletes are only required to pass the random weigh-in on the competition day in order to compete at the Final ranking game.
• 10am – Sparring Matches Start
• 12pm – Poomsae Draws are announced
• 1pm – Poomsae Competition Start
