The Taekwondo Ontario Referee Committee is pleased to announce a Provincial Kyorugi Referee Seminar for P3 class certification and refresher to be held on Sunday January 18, 2026.

This seminar will be run at Jeong’s Family Taekwondo (Niagara Falls).

*This seminar meets the process to certification, upgrades, and/or NCCP requirement

Course Conductor: Master Straso Trantalovski

Eligibility:

• Minimum 14 years old
• Minimum 1st Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt
• Taekwondo Ontario member in good standing

Registration: Open

Registration Fees:

• P3 Class Certification Course – $100
• Refresher / Coach Course – $50

Attire: Dobok
Bring: Pen/pencil, notebook, lunch, copy of competition rules

Seminar topics will include the following:

• Referee fundamentals and duties
• Theory (rules and scenarios)
• Hand signals
• Practical evaluation (to be completed in the afternoon)

*All evaluations are done online and participants MUST bring their own wifi enabled laptop or tablet device in order to complete the required evaluations. Smartphones with small screens are NOT recommended for completing the evaluations. Additionally, all participants are expected to review and/or have a printed or electronic copy of the latest WT Kyorugi Competition Rules and Interpretation for the seminar. This can be downloaded on the WT website.

New and upgrading referees will be required to successfully complete a written exam and practical evaluation in order to earn a certificate.
