14 Sep [Notice] Upcoming 2025-2026 Taekwondo Ontario Referee Seminars – Important Updates & Dates

We would like to inform you of important updates to the Taekwondo Ontario Referee Certification Process and share details about the upcoming 2025–2026 Provincial Referee Seminars.

Certification Process Update
The referee certification pathway is undergoing changes to better support the development of qualified officials across the province. As part of this transition, seminars will be offered for:

  • New referees seeking P3 certification
  • Current referees, athletes, or coaches attending refresher courses
  • Certified referees eligible for upgrade seminars (P3 → P2, P2 → P1)
Eligibility
  • Minimum age 14 years old
  • Minimum belt level is Black Belt – 1st Dan Kukkiwon

Please note: Upgrade seminars are by invitation only and not open to general registration.

Provincial Referee Seminar #1 – Poomsae

Date: September 20, 2025
Location: Myung’s Taekwondo Academy Markham East
For: P3 Certification & Refresher Course
Capacity: Limited to 25 participants
