The Taekwondo Ontario Referee Committee is pleased to announce a Provincial Kyorugi Referee Seminar to be held on Sunday September 23, 2018. This seminar will be run at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC).

*This seminars meet the process to certification, upgrades, and/or NCCP requirement

Course Conductor: Master Daniel Park

Eligibility: Minimum 13 years old, 2nd Keup and current Taekwondo Ontario member in good standing

Registration fee: $100 (includes HST)
Attire: Dobok
Bring: Pen/pencil, notebook, lunch, copy of competition rules
Room: North Room (Judo Ontario training space), adjacent to CSIO *closest access from North side parking lot, please remove shoes upon entry

Seminar topics will include the following:

• Referee fundamentals and duties
• Theory (rules and scenarios)
• Hand signals
• Practical evaluation (to be completed in the afternoon)

*All participants are expected to review and/or have a printed or electronic copy of the latest WT Kyorugi Competition Rules and Interpretation for the seminar. This can be downloaded on the WT website:

New and upgrading referees will be required to successfully complete a written exam and practical evaluation in order to earn a certificate.
